Welcome to 501 Studios,
where we house a variety of media-arts companies ranging from
post production houses and filmmakers to fine artists; from multimedia
production & photographers
to make-up artists. Our tenants enjoy all the conveniences of a
large company conference room, kitchen
facilities, receptionist, on-site management, maintenance and even a sound
stage without all the hassle and expense
of doing it alone. Studio space can even be modified to suit the
specific needs of your business. At 501
Studios, we provide the services so your company can focus on the most

As a tenant of 501 Studios,
your company can enjoy a synergistic work environment. By being
a part of
the media arts community, business flourishes through referrals and association
as well as convenient location.
Our receptionist services
offer your clients the professionalism of a live person handling your
calls and
greeting your visitors. Callers and visitors can be announced or
screened at your request, and our receptionist
will also sign for and notify you of any packages you have received.
If you choose not to
utilize the receptionist services, an Automated Attendant is available
to receive
your calls. The Automated Attendant is an enhanced voicemail system
with numerous options for messaging,
announcements and operator assistance if necessary.
501 Studios is located
at 501 N. I-35 on the edge of Austin's downtown 6th Street Entertainment
District.
There is plenty of free public parking for you and your clients, as well
as 24 hour security-controlled access in
case you need to work those late nights.
The services we provide
our tenants make the basics of a day at the office worry-free. We
provide signing
& acceptance services for all packages sent to you along with immediate
notification upon your package's arrival.
US Mail can be delivered to your mailbox or to the main address to be
sorted by our receptionist.
As a tenant of 501 Studios,
you have access to the conference room whenever you need to host a meeting.
Just check with the receptionist to determine the availability of the
conference room and then sign up for your
meeting time. Our conference room has internet capabilities, network
access, 3/4" and 1/2" video equipment,
and our receptionist will even order lunch to be delivered for you and
your guests at your request.
501 Studios is an all-utilities
paid facility (includes electricity, gas & water. Our on-site
maintenance is also free, so even when you need something as little as
a light bulb changed, just call us! We also offer copiers in each
of the common areas and some of our restrooms include showers.
Plus, each of the buildings have four-digit code entry systems allowing
you access to your office 24/7!
501 Studios offers you
and your clients the convenience and comforts of multiple kitchen areas
and coffee bars,
as well as recycling services.
We are excited to announce the integration of VoIP within the 501 Studios community. It is truly a convenience for businesses here at 501 Studios. With included network connections, low set-up fees and monthly rates, the ShoreTel Phone units are easily programmed to suit your changing needs with voicemail and remote access, and business is easily conducted at or away from the office. The Shoretel system has been widely recognized for the ease of system management.
Each VoIP phone comes with 1 hour of free long distance per month! Every minute thereafter is a low $0.07/minute..
Conference Calling is available to all of our tenants on the VoIP system allowing you to initiate important multi-party calls for your business. The ShoreTel phones that are used with the VoIP system provide excellent quality while conferencing within your space.
501 Studios offers all
of its tenants and virtual tenants website hosting (with your own
DNS or our DNS @501studios.com)
and e-mail accounts on our very own ISP. We offer T1 bandwidth via
SmartNAP, Dial-up Internet Access, Dial-up LAN
Service, E-mail and On-site Network Administration. Even if your
website is already hosted by another ISP, we can simply
link your site to ours.
501 Studios is also a
popular art space where many local artists, photographers and sculptors
exhibit their best. You'll benefit
from being part of this vibrant artistic community, and your business
will receive more exposure and traffic as a result of the
frequent openings and exhibits.
Unified Messaging merges all the latest communications technology into one system for your convenience. The ShoreTel system provides integrated messaging for any PC desktop, as well as unified messaging with Outlook. Voicemail messages, e-mail messages and even faxes can all be accessed, processed and responded to by simply making one toll-free call. Just dial into the 501 Studios Unified Messaging Center to access your voicemail, e-mail and faxes. No matter how far or how long you travel, you are always in touch with your business by making one simple call.
501 Studios offers copier
services by providing each tenant with its own "copier code"
to use on our machines.
Tenants are billed monthly for copier usage.
FAX Services are available
to all 501 Studios tenants in a "per page" package or an "unlimited
package" package offered at a flat monthly
rate, depending on your company's FAX needs.
Should you ever need a document notarized, you'll never need to go any farther than your own office with our in-house notary public.
As a 501 Studios tenant,
you are welcome to order any supplies through the catalog of your choice
and have them
delivered either directly to your studio or to our lobby for convenience.
Got the munchies? There are numerous vending machines throughout the 501 Studios for you and your clients' convenience.
